The STRING Association actively promotes volunteering as a key tool for personal development and community building. We place special emphasis on youth volunteering, particularly in the Brezovica district, where our initiatives encourage young people to engage in various socially beneficial activities. Through volunteering, young people gain new skills, develop a sense of responsibility, and become active participants in creating positive changes in society.
Our volunteer activities include training volunteers through educational workshops and training sessions. Young volunteers participate in programs that help them develop organizational and communication skills while also preparing them for teamwork and taking responsibility in volunteer projects. In this way, we create a platform where young people can be empowered to lead initiatives and projects in the future.
In Brezovica, we organize various volunteer actions that address different needs of the local community. Volunteering here is not only an opportunity to contribute to the community but also to create a sense of belonging and connection among the volunteers.
Volunteer management in our projects is key to the success of these activities. We carefully manage task allocation, mentor volunteers, and provide support throughout the process. Managing volunteers requires a well-organized structure within civil society organizations, so at STRING, we apply modern tools and methods that enable effective management and sustainability of volunteer actions.
We also collaborate with other organizations to jointly organize volunteer actions and share experiences in managing volunteer work. Volunteers are the foundation of every community, and through our programs, we strive to ensure that every volunteer gets the opportunity to develop their skills and contribute to the common good.
